My G5 Power Mac does not chime or power on my Apple Cinema display but fans speed up until running at top speed and remain there,

please help.

Hey prism37s,

When a computer will not start up as it should is never a good time.

If this does not work, we would need to get the computer into a service provider to look at it hands on.
