Battery won't charge when device is on

Before updating my iPod to iOS 9.3.2, it would charge just like it normally would. But now when i plug in the adapter it doesnt charge at all (no green battery, no ding etc). My adapters work fine and I'm wondering if it's a bug on this version of iOS.
