Can't set up Exchange account

All of a sudden one day my Exchange account stopped working. It wasn't retrieving mail or my calendar. My IT department looked at it and can't figure it out. No one else in my company that has an iPhone is having this trouble so it must be related to my device.

I deleted the account and am now having to use the Outlook app which kind of *****. I'd like to use a calendar app that will keep all of my calendars together. But I can't re-add my Exchange account to my settings. I enter my credentials but get an alert saying that it's unable to verify my Exchange account.

Does anyone have any ideas for how to solve this?

Hi Graiai,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! So I understand that you are getting an error stating that it is unable to verify your Exchange account after removing it? Not to worry! If you have not done so, please check to see if there are any available updates for your device by tapping Settings > General > About. If any are available, please update your iOS. Try logging into your Exchange account through webmail. It is often that you may have to log into webmail to verify or update some settings before you can re add it to other devices via email client. If you are able to log in via webmail, try re adding the account to your iPhone. The links below can assist you with the steps I suggested.

Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Log into your account

Set up Exchange ActiveSync on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

These procedures should have your Exchange account re set up in no time.

Have a great day.
