Jul 6, 2016 3:19 AM in response to HJ JaffrIby ChrisJ4203,★HelpfulWhere did you get this phone? Did you purchase it used? If this is the first time that you have restored or updated this device, then it seems the former owner did not remove it from their iCloud account and you have encountered Activation Lock.

Jul 6, 2016 8:59 PM in response to HJ JaffrIby ChrisJ4203,Then it appears that you have purchased a used phone that is still Activation Locked. You need to contact the previous owner and have them remove the device from their iCloud account. If you cannot contact them, or they cannot remove it from their account, then you will not be able to activate the phone. The phone is useless to you. No one but the owner that activated the lock can remove it. I suggest that you return the device for a refund. Get your money back. You will never be able to activate the phone.

Jul 7, 2016 7:29 AM in response to HJ JaffrIby ChrisJ4203,Restoring a backup of your phone cannot put the Apple ID of another person on your phone. Apple will not provide you with contact information for any user, due to privacy issues. Something tells me that something was done incorrectly at this shop you purchased the phone from. I believe the device was not removed from the former owner's iCloud account, as I told you earlier. You purchased a used device, and you need to deal with this shop about contacting the former owner to remove the device from their account. If you wish to contact Apple, use this support document to find contact information for your location, however Apple will not remove the device from Activation Lock, since you are not the original owner. I believe we also have a little language barrier here, either I'm not understanding you completely, or you are not understanding me. Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support
