Q: Exporting an album from iPhoto

I have an album in iPhoto at home that I want to get printed as a book but iPhoto is no longer supported (I'm running 10.9.5 on an iMac). How do I export the album so that I can print it from Photo on my new Mac at work?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

in iPHoto and Photos albums are organizational elements not projects

I assume you are talking about a photo book - if you are you can have it printed by Presto Photo

You can either save a preview of the book from iPhoto as a PDF file as described here:  Preview a print project in Photos or iPhoto to avoid issues - Apple Support

Then have it printed at Presto Photo as recommended by LarryHN.

Or copy the iPhoto Library with the book project onto an external drive and connect the drive to your new Mac at work.

Drag the iPhoto Library onto the Photos icon to migrate the copied iPhoto Library to Photos.  If you are lucky, Photos may have migrated the book very similar to the original version if iPhoto.  If not, the book will have been migrated as an album with the photos and you may have to start over, if the templates are too different.
