Q: can't reset iPhone 5s

i am trying to factory reset my iPhone 5s but it keeps telling me to turn off "find my phone". when i try to turn that off it tells me that by iCloud password verification failed.

i reset the password and it still tells me that. all my other devices accept the new password fine.

how can i reset the phone?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
