Thanks for using Apple Support Communities for help with your issue. This is indeed a strange one, but no worries, the best resolution would be to connect your iPhone to your computer via USB and re sync the library. You can perform this task by following the steps in the link below.
Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB
Once that has been completed, please check to make sure the album artwork is now the same on the iPhone, as it is in iTunes.
