You have several options depending on what type of software you want to run:

1. You can use an Application called Wine to run generic Windows Apps.

2. You can use a virtualization software such as Paralllels, VMWare or VirtualBox to run a complete Windows installation on your Mac, and then install applications inside Windows.

3. You can use Bootcamp to install a Windows version on the Mac directly. You would have to restart the MAc any time you wish to change from Mac to Windows and back.

Note that for the last 2 options, you will need a full Windows Installation with a valid Product Key that you will  need to purchase from Microsoft.
