Q: Mac Mini, Windows 10 and Geforce 320m

Hi,

I have a Mac Mini mid 2010. I've installed Windows 10 on it but have some issues when Windows upgrades the driver. Then the PC will crash and I need to roll back to a standard Windows driver. Has anyone managed to find a driver that works for this graphics adapter? I run Windows 10 Enterprise x64.

W10 is officially not supported on a 2010 model as noted in Use Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support .

Please try the nVidia website for possible drivers.

Please also test W7/W8.1 drivers in compatibility mode.

Hey,

Thanks - that is what I have read as well. I was just wondering if anyone had found a work-around. I've tried different drivers from the nVidia site but none of them have worked. For now I think I have managed to prevent Windows from upgrading the driver so that seems to work.

Is the current driver from the BC driver set or the generic display driver?

Using the MS generic driver. Not sure what's in the BC set. But upgrading to the 320m driver kills Windows :-)

It's not a big deal because I just RDP into it anyway. It's just a pain when Windows decides to upgrade the driver...

Hey,

Yep, using that tool. For some reason it upgraded once anyway but seems to be stable at the moment :-)
