Q: Problems with ibooks on ipad mini

I am having problems deleting all the books in my ibooks app on my ipad mini. It is taking up over half the memory on my device and I can't delete anything out of it. which stops me from adding new apps or updates. Has anyone else had this issue and can offer advice?

What happens when long-press on a book, then select Delete?

Rysz, it deletes it but it does not free any space and then it keeps trying to download it again

Restart your device after deleting data to see a difference in storage space.

Settings > Genearl > About

Hello Carolyn, I tried that but no real change.It freed up up roughly 850MB and in 5 minutes it was all gone and back to zero capacity. Still at Zero available capacity and ibooks taking over half of the 12.7 GB on the device.

If deleting doesn't free up storage, perfirming a Restore from an encrypted iTunes backup might help.

If the books re-download, please check your settings, both on your device and in iTunes. You might have it set to keep them synced to the device.
