Messages - unknown

When I go to my Messages on the iPhone 6S, they are all listed by Contact as they should be. My question is why do I have about 10 Messages showing that are blank (unknown contact and message content is empty)? I have deleted a bunch and now I have more. Where are they coming from and how do I stop them?
