Is there a way to increase the resolutions of pixel count on an older photo

Is there a way to expand a JPeG photo (i.e. 640 by 480 ) that a saved from years ago so I can do corrections on it and then print it on 11 x 14 paper??

Any suggestion will help. I have saved most of my old photos as individual JPEG files over the last 14 years.

Some apps, like Photoshop, have a feature that will do this.

But be warned: it does this by interpolating pixels between the ones that are there and guessing at what they might be like. To quote from the page linked there

Resampling isn’t a recommended activity, especially upsampling. As smart as Photoshop is, having to manufacture pixels isn’t an exact science. Your image tends to lose detail and sharpness. Your resampled image never looks as good as the original and may be blurry.
