Q: iPod touch - remove Photo Library?

My Photo Library is taking up far too much space. I have already manually deleted the photos, keeping only 12 on my camera roll. The library is still taking up 2.9GB worth of space though. I've read through previous posts and haven't found a definitive solution. Anyone have another update? Thanks.

I have resorted to erasing my device entirely and then restoring from backup. This seems to have cleared the storage issues. What a pain!

    Do you have any photos in other albums besides the Camera Roll Album?

    Like PhotoStream, or photos synced to the iPod?

     

    Try:

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost      

    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    Thanks, Illaass. I've just tried Reset but it hasn't made a difference.

     

    Photo Library: 2.9GB

    Synched form iTunes: 0.7KB

    Shared Photo Stream: 10.4MB

     

    That's all! I want to just get rid of the Photo Library as I've already backed up the photos to my Mac. I don't need them on my iPod anymore and I just want to have my storage space back!
