Q: How to rotate IPAD during install (bottom touch not working)
Hi, I have an old 1st gen IPAD where the bottom 10% of the screen is not working anymore. I tried to reset the IPAD, but now I'm stuck on the "agree to the license" screen. Is there a way to bypass this? Can I rotate the screen at this time?
Thanks

Hi Icetbr,
What a great iPad model you have there! If you've already tried changing the screen orientation during the initial setup to no avail, then you will not be able to rotate it at that time. But no worries. You maybe able to turn on the Zoom feature during the setup process which will allow you to access the Agree to License button. Also, since you're having issues with the display, you should consider having it repaired at your local Apple store or service center. The steps and links below will help you to enable the Zoom feature as well as get some great info to get your iPad repaired if you choose to.
When you turn on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch for the first time, you can quickly turn on VoiceOver or Zoom to help you set up your device. Here's how:
Zoom
To turn on Zoom, use three fingers and double-tap the screen.
To increase the level of Zoom, use three fingers to double-tap and hold, then move your fingers up or down on the screen to increase or decrease magnification.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Have a great day.
