iBook template question

I have a three-photo template in an iBook phonebook I am doing. Two of the area are filled with photos the third area is a default gray (Sydney Opera House) I like this three photo layout but do not want the third photo to show in the final. Will it be blank or will it show the default (Sydney Opera House illustration) ?
