Q: I Tunes Music Match and Savant

I'm not able to play some music through my Savant home automation system which I purchased from I Tunes; "not authorized to play this music". Most of my library which was ripped from CDs and most music purchased on line from I Tunes will play ok, but some selectively will not.

Savant, iOS 9.3.2

Anything downloaded with Apple Music or purchased before September 2009 is likely to contain DRM and will only play on authorized computers or devices. In some cases more recently purchased tracks may present with an authorization request in iTunes which, if the account is authorized already, usually indicates a corrupt download which should be replaced.

Thanks for the response. I thought of downloading music purchased from I Tunes again, but since all devices are synced for auto downloads it doesn't allow me to. Also, I recently downloaded two albums, both are on my devices ok, but only one will play over the Savant system, the other signals "not authorized".

Check the kind column in the iTunes Songs layout.
