Q: Cannot Pair Apple Watch to iPhone6

I am unable to pair my apple watch to my iPhone6.  I hold the phone in Pairing Mode with the watch also in pairing mode.  I keep the watch face in the view finder and it doesn't sync up.  I can see my Bluetooth symbol flash, but it doesn't get to the next level.  When I manually pair them, I receive the pairing code and select it, but the watch never gives me the 6-digit code.  Then it times out and I have to start over.

This was working for about a year, and today it just shut down and wouldn't connect, so I cleared it and thought it would be easy to pair and go.  I was wrong.  Any help would be very much appreciated!

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2

    Hi

    If your watch is unpaired according to your iPhone, but not yet according to your watch, follow these steps to re-pair your watch:

    • On your watch: go to the Home screen (via a single press of the Digital Crown) > Settings (cog icon) > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings.

    Before trying again to pair your watch, it may help to close all open apps on your iPhone and then to restart both devices:

    • On your iPhone, double-click on the Home button, then swipe up on each app preview to close it;
    • Turn both devices off together, then restart your iPhone first;
      • To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; drag it to turn off.
      • To turn it back on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

    You may then also be able to follow the standard pairing process, without needing to pair manually:
