Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with taking pictures on your iPhone is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you are unable to have any type of image save to the Photos app. Start with these steps to narrow down and resolve this issue.
1. First, restart your iPhone as the shut down and start up process is important to keep the iPhone software running properly:

2. If you're still having an issue after restarting, you may want to backup your personal data again:

3. Then reset all settings on your iPhone, as this will keep your personal data but put system settings back to factory defaults
