Jul 8, 2016 7:57 AM in response to Linc Davisby ceisen,Thanks for your quick response. I was about to try your suggestion this morning when an inexplicable thing happened. I awoke my MBP from sleep and connected to my home WiFi, opened a new tab in Safari, and went to YouTube. Just to check, I tried to play a YouTube video and it worked!!! I had not disabled any extensions yet. Since I had restarted my MPB yesterday afternoon before the problem started, I'm wondering if some process took time to complete before HTML5 worked. Anyhow, thanks again for your quick response.
