why does the green light on my magic keyboard and mouse blink green when I turn them on after replacing the batteries (and not connect to the computer; batteries tested good in tester)?

Ok, tnx but I don't recall this happening before and they don't reconnect to my computer, they just lay there blinking...thoughts?
