Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue receiving mail to your iCloud account is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you are unable to receive incoming mail to your iCloud email address and get a specific error. I would start by narrowing this down using the steps in this support article:

Jul 13, 2016 8:29 AM in response to DharmaSoldatby DharmaSoldat,That document does not help. My mail applications are configured properly on my iPhone and Air. I can send emails no problem and receive them in other email accounts. I cannot receive anything because for some reason their LDAP server (i'm guessing) is borky and cannot map an incoming email to my iCloud email address.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
