iphone 6 has 3G/4G connection and wifi but no internet

Hi, I've been using this iphone 6 with ios for 1,5 years and never had this problem before. Yesterday I went to an island where there is no signal, but when i came back to the city, the signal is fine with full bars and 3G or 4G connection, but I can't browse safari, line, whatsapp, etc. I tried i message and it can. That's why I find it very strange. Sometimes notifications from whatsapp or line came in, but when i open it, it says no internet connection. I tried using wifi still can't use internet. Can someone help me? I'm getting frustated. I have tried airplane mode on and off, celullar data on and off, soft restart, hard restart, pull out sim card and insert it, reset network settings, but none of this works. Please help me 😢

Nb : I'm using iOS 8.4.1

You can try to reset your device. This will not erase any of your data.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button

Then press and hold the Home button

Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

And there is an alternative way: go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset all settings

The first thing to do is update your iOS from 8.4.1 to 9.3.2. Many users encountered problems with iOS 8 and Apple changed the networking routine in iOS 9. Try that first.

Also below is a User Tip about Wi-Fi issues but update your iOS first. No sense in trying these with iOS 8.

1) Perform a Forced Restart: Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Allow device to restart.

2) Reset Network Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Rejoin the Network again.

3) Reboot Router/Modem: Unplug from power for 2 minutes and plug again. Update Router Firmware (check manufacturer’s support website for a newer FW). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (20 MHz recommended for the 2.4 band).

4) Change to Google's DNS: Settings > Wi-Fi > Click on the Network, Delete all numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or alternatively 8.8.4.4

5) Disable device prioritization on the router if this feature is available. Also disable any VPN apps and test Wi-Fi again.

6) Determine if other Wi-Fi devices on network are working well (other iOS devices, Macs, PCs).

7) Try device at another Network, i.e., neighbors’, public coffee house, etc.

8) Backup and Restore the Device using iTunes (ask for additional for details if desired).

9) Go to an Apple Store for hardware evaluation.
