Q: no sim card installed

my iPad2 version 9.2.1 could not recognized the sim card any more. I use to get the information that no sim card installed. Can anyone assist me please?

Try taking it out, and wiping it clean with a soft cloth, and then putting it back in.

Remove or switch the SIM card in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If it still won't work, you may need to contact your carrier, and get a new Sim Card from them.

You can try to turn the ipad to remove the sim, then return the sim and turn on the ipad. You can try to put the iPad in Airplane Mode and then take off after thirty seconds.
