Q: Preordered book shows as 'purchased', but I cannot open.

I preordered a book, it was released 6/13/16. Still shows as 'preordered' in my library. When I click on the book it opens the book page in the store, flashes the cloud download icon which immediately changes to 'purchased'. I cannot open or download the book. As it shows as 'purchased' I cannot repurchase the book. How do I access my book?

iPad Pro 12.9-inch Wi-Fi, Cellular, iOS 9.3.2

    Hi,

Try to redownlaod     ☞  Download your past purchases.

Have you already received the receipt ?

You can also click on Report a problem.

    Raicya-

It does not show up in my purchased items to redownload.

I don't recall if I saw the receipt (I have a teenager, and get multiple receipts every day...).

I am unable to 'report a problem' b/c it does not show in my 'purchased items' to report...

I would just repurchase, but cannot b/c the book shows as 'purchased', so I cannot see the 'buy book' tab...

    Thanks for the suggestions though!

Maybe I ought to just repurchase through the Amazon Kindle app?

    Hi,

Have you read Download your past purchases carefully ?

When you have purchased you can always redownload, give a try.

it is a small effort to go through in your inbox and search for the receipt though, if you want to report your problem to Apple / iTunes Store.
