Mac OS X
Q: Distinguishing suspicious root certificate authorities.
The version I'm currently using is 10.9.5 (OS X).
When accessing to the Keychain access, I noticed that in the System Roots keychain, in the Certificates Category, there is a long list of certificates.
Some of them have names such as :
- TÜBITAK UEKAE Kök Sertifika Hizmet Saglayicisi - Sürüm 3
- NetLock Arany (Class Gold) Fotanusitvany
- Hong Kong Post Root CA 1...
I have tried Googling them, but I cannot figure out whether they are regular certificates or not, and how I can generally distinguish them.
Thank you
