When I am importing my time-lapse from my iPhone 6s into final cut it works just fine until I disconnect my phone from the laptop. I don't understand why it does this if the file is already imported. Can anyone help?
The file did not finish importing. FCP X allows you to start editing right away and imports in the background. If you disconnect before import is finished the file will go offline.
Connect the iphone, select the files in question and do File->Import>Reimport from Camera/Archive.
