Q: MacBook Pro EFI - which is newer?

Hello,

 

I have a Mid-2012 15'' MBP with EFI version MBP91.00D3.B0D

 

According to Apple, the latest available for this model is MBP91.00D3.B0C (2015-002)

 

I was wondering if this one is newer? Since it finished wish a C, I would think it's older than the one installed, which finishes with a D?

 

If mine is newer, than how come it's not available for download?

The firmware you MUST have for reliable, general operation is available for download. Your versions are later (more recent) and Apple has automatically installed those for you because they felt the machine would operate better under your conditions (under advanced version of Mac OS, for example) than the generally available versions.
