Q: "Your Apple ID is Disabled"

I understand Apple uses "locked" and "disabled" interchangeably--the former typically being associated for security reasons, the latter for something else (even though this is not how Apple sees it. I'm just referring to how people tend to associate the terms).

I've read up on a lot of the disabled/lock threads online and I noticed people have a hard time logging in.

This is not my case, at all. I'm actually fully able to login I just cannot do things like downloading apps. I've tried logging out and logging back in but I still can't download or update apps. I've tried using verification codes on both devices too. Every time I try and download an app, I get: Your Apple ID is disabled"

Does anyone know what I can do?
