Display is to large

Often the display is way to big and I can't see time. It's not set on iphone for large display. Is there a way when it gets off the screen to get it back to regular? I've tried everything.

Hi

Zoom (an accessibility feature) has been enabled on your watch and you may have accidentally zoomed in by tapping the display in a particular way.

To return the screen contents to normal size, try double-tapping the display with two fingers.

Afterwards, if you would prefer to disable Zoom:

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Accessibility > Zoom - turn off.
  • Or on your watch, go to: Home screen (via a single press of the Digital Crown) > Settings (cog icon) > General > Accessibility > Zoom - tap and turn off / on.

If the Accessibility Shortcut has been enabled and configured for Zoom, you can also enable and disable the feature more conveniently:

  • On your watch: quickly press the Digital Crown (the round button) three times.

To configure the Accessibility Shortcut:

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut (at the bottom) > select / deselect Zoom.

See this page in the Apple Watch User Guide for assistance with Zoom. http://help.apple.com/watch/#/apd95f904443

Zoom

Use Zoom to magnify what’s on the Apple Watch display.

Turn on Zoom. On Apple Watch, open the Settings app, go to General > Accessibility, then turn on Zoom. You can also use iPhone to turn on Zoom for Apple Watch—open the Apple Watch app on iPhone, tap My Watch, tap Settings, then tap the option in General > Accessibility. Or, use the Accessibility Shortcut; see The Accessibility Shortcut.

Zoom in or out. Double-tap the Apple Watch display with two fingers.

Move around (pan). Drag the display with two fingers. You can also turn the Digital Crown to pan over the entire page, left-right and up-down. The small Zoom button that appears shows you where you are on the page.

Use the Digital Crown normally instead of panning. Tap the display once with two fingers to switch between using the Digital Crown to pan and using the Digital Crown the way it works without Zoom on (for example, to scroll a list or zoom a map).

Adjust magnification. Double-tap and hold with two fingers, then drag your fingers up or down on the display. To limit magnification, open the Apple Watch app on iPhone, tap My Watch, go to General > Accessibility > Zoom, then drag the Maximum Zoom Level slider.

Zoom during setup. Double-tap with two fingers while setting up Apple Watch to get a better look.
