Q: Which app is easier to use... Quick Time or IMovie?

I am starting to make movies out of my video's in Photos, and I would like some guidance on which product to use with my Apple Photos (videos).

    QuickTime is a video player with a few very basic editing tools built in. To actually get fit and assemble videos, iMovie is the right tool, especially for beginners.

    Vimeo is a video streaming service, where you can post your completed video movies. The videos there are generally of much higher quality than on YouTube. I only subscribe to Vimeo channels.

     

    Vimeo, however, is not an editing software. They do have another app called Cameo, but I'm not personally familiar with it. Personally, I would always choose an app that is not tied to any one, specific video service.

     

    You you really should give iMovie a try.
