Q: Ipod classic doesn't show up in Finder or iTunes. The iPod says do not disconnect on screen

  I wish to eject iPod classic. It says do not disconnect on screen. Dosen't show up in iTunes or Finder

    If there are multiple devices connected to iTunes, you may not see the iPod. Hover over the icons in the top left of your iTunes window. One of mine says 2 Devices and looks like an iPhone. If I click on it, my iPad will also appear in a drop-down for me to choose/eject.

    Try to disconnect via your computer, the same way you would disconnect an external HD. If you have Windows 10, you can simply pull the cable out of the USB port without damaging the unit.

     

    If all else fails, shut down your computer, then pull the cable once its powered down.
