Hi everyone. I know there was a topic made on this issue before, but it was never resolved. I was wondering if anyone could show me where Logic Pro X keeps it's auto-saved files? I would lose over 6 hours of work if I can't locate it. Thanks!

If you are saving it as a package file - then you have to open up the logic project package file (right click on it and select show package contents).... and it is in there....
It is under the alternative you are using... if you have no alternatives it is 000
Thanks for the reply! I still have an issue: when I open up the package contents for the project, there's nothing in the autosaves folder (as you can see here the arrow next to the folder is pointing down, indicating that it's open). Is logic keeping them somewhere else?
Here is how it works!
Under normal conditions.
When you launch Logic - autosave files are generated once a minute and stored in the autosave folder. If you quit logic normally - those autosave files are removed.
If logic exits abnormally ( then when logic launches again it finds files in the autosave folder) because only on a normal exit are they removed. If it finds those files - you are prompted to use them or the last saved file to load into logic.
After you pick one of the two options and you then again close logic normally at some point later in time - those files are removed.
I have verified this.
Autosave is only created when you abnormally exit logic ( i.e. Crash) . open logic, do a force quit, then it should be there.
That really stinks :/ guess I have to write that entire chord and melody progression all over again. Thanks for the help, though!
I will need to verify this, but I believe after a crash when you restart logic you are prompted for opening the last saved project or the auto saved one created at the time of the crash. Regardless of which you select after the selection is made and logic opens "I Believe" the auto save is removed and is no longer available.
If that were true, then why would there be a need to save auto-saves at all? I feel like if it just deleted the auto-save after the prompt, then there wouldn't even be a reason for the existence of the "Autosaves" folder in the Package Contents of the Project.
Logic crashed 2 days ago and made an Auto-save so that should be there, correct?
Where does Logic Pro X store Auto-Saved Files?
