Locked out of Mac due to Apple ID change

MY primary email for my Apple ID was my student email. When I graduated, I lost access to that email. I was able to change my primary email on my phone, but for some reason my Mac is still connected to the old email. Now neither my old password or my new password can get me onto my computer. It is the only administrator account on my laptop so now I can't access anything. Help!

If you are indicating that you cannot sign in to the Mac at all, then that wouldn't be your Apple ID password. The Administrator password is a separate password from your Apple ID password. Can you think of any other password you might have used for your Admin account?
