Q: iPhone 5 battery and other
Last December (2015) I had my battery replaced on my iPhone 5. About two weeks later I had to have that battery replaced as it was a bad battery. After that, everything ran like new.
Last Saturday my phone sat at 100% all day even with constant usage. It finally died and once it turned back on it started to restart every few minutes. The battery percent is stuck at whatever it is when the phone turns back on. Restarting it is the only way to see a different percent but when doing this the phone goes back into the restarting process. This goes on until the battery completely runs out of life. I also noticed a red bar run across the screen as it turns itself off. As well as a fade out starting in one-half of the phone moving to the other before it completely shuts down.
Is this a battery problem or would it be another hardware problem?
iPhone 5, iOS 9.3.2

As I have not experienced your issue it's really hard to remotely diagnose the problem. I can offer you the support page that will help you to rule out or confirm possible hardware as the culprit.
