My phone battery status

I just bought a iphone 6s from Digi store with my postpaid contract. But inside the unopened box is a new but no battery iphone. Then the seller help me to charge about 10mins to let me check about the phone status. Isn't that the li-on battery cannot be stored long under the no battery status? Is there any problem to my new phone and should I go to the store to change a new phone?

I also check the max battery capacity using the method online and it show that the max capacity of battery of my iphone is 1800. But accroding to the official capacity of iphone 6s is only 1715mh! Is that any problem my phone?!

Please help to solve my question, thanks!

Depending on how long the phone has been stored, there might not be enough battery life left to start it up the very first time, in that case you'll have to charge it first, this is completely normal.

And, if the battery life is not as expected after a few charging cycles, get the phone tested by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider next to your place.

The battery is also covered by a short warranty after you start using the phone.

Suggest charging your phone for several hours and then downloading the app Battery Life from the Apple Store. Test your battery with it. The app is free and reliable. If it shows a problem take it to an Apple Store for further testing/replacement.
