Q: App store is not accepting my credit card

I have been using the same credit card since last year and I never had any problems. Now I can't update any of my applications and I get a message that I have to enter a valid credit card. Why is this keep happening and how can I solve it?

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.2

    If I understand correctly, you are unable to update any of your applications due to an issue with a credit card.  I know how important it is to install all available updates to take advantage of all the new features offered.

     

    Based on the message you are receiving, the first thing I would try is to re-enter your payment information.  You can find the instructions on how to do this here:

    Change or remove your Apple ID payment information

     

    If the issue continues after putting in the payment information, then I would suggest contacting Apple Care.  Apple takes the security of your account very seriously and will need to verify information to confirm that you are the owner of the account.  Because of this, the contact needs to be via telephone.  They can be reached here:
