Interesting fault solution for cooling fans occasionally starting from cold?

Interesting fault solution for cooling fans occasionally starting from cold?

Normally I do a SMC Reset, it is sometimes the solution.

When the cooling fans kick in as soon as I start my iMac from cold, I just quickly swivel the iMac gently from right to left and the cooling fans stop.

Strange?

Any answers?

Note: I am using a iMac 21inch late 2013 - 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

That sounds kind of like a loose or pinched sensor wire.

You might be able to see the problem sensor or sensor wire with either the Apple Diagnostics test or a third party temp. monitoring application, but your best bet would be to make a service appointment at your local AASP.

I will contact my local Apple Store, as my iMac is now out of warranty, I will have to wait till my piggy bank is near to full, before I contact them.
