Q: my iPhoto won't print multiple copies of a photo.

I'm running o/s10.7.5 and version 8.1.2 of iPhoto.  I selected my photo and chose Print from File menu.  I select contact sheet from icon menu to left of my photo. One small image of my photo appears on the preview.  Neither layout nor column options have any effect and when I print only one tiny copy of my photo appears.  I, of course, am in the middle of a deadline project for which I need this function!

I haven't use iPhoto 8 for a very long time so don't know is this is valid.  With the current iPhoto 9.6.1 one must duplicate the photo as many times as copies are needed on the printed sheet.

Then select the copies and use the Contact Sheet layout:

Or use the Custom layout and set the size to get the number of photos per page that you want:

NOTE:  The key is to duplicate the image as many times as you need to get the number of images per page that you want.

This is how the current version of iPhoto works.  I don't remember how iPhoto 8.1.2 handles multiple copies of one photo on a page.

Thank you!  It worked just as you described.  I really appreciated your illustrations and instructions.  It's a bit kludgy as I had to make 47 duplicates of one photo in order to get the size and quantity I wanted for my project, but thanks to you I don't have to abandon or re-invent my project.
