Changing Titles Background

Hi

I have a title created in Motion-5 and use it in FCPX. It has a JPEG file as back ground for the title.

I have imported more JPEG files with an idea to create Rig with a pop-up widget and assign one jpeg to each snapshot.

The basic idea is to change the backgrounds in FCPX. But for some reason I could not succeed.

I have seen changing colors, animations etc using Rigs. It this possible for the backgrounds also where the background is JPEG file.

I am currently having 30 titles each with a different jpeg background.

Is that possible to make just one title with a Rig containing 30 background files and then change them in FCPX

as needed.

Appreciate any help in this regard.

Thanks

..

sure it is, look:

User uploaded file

step#1

put ALL 30 (that's a lot! here: three…) into your project.

in this example, for cosmetics, I made a Group 'background pix'

step#2

apply the slider Opacity of each pic to a drop-down Rig (here: 'selection')

step#3

in the Rigs Inspector, give each selection a name, and set all sliders to zero, except one.

=> in FCPX, you get a nice drop-down menu, offering each of your three ... thirty bg-pix
