Recently moved from Windows to OS X.
If I select text and right click I cant find the "cut" option. Do I have to add it from settings or there is no such thing in OS X?

The keyboard shortcut is helpful although I was wondering if there is actually an option if you right click on an icon/folder/text, since I only find the "copy" option.

The Cut option will only be there if the text is in an editable field. Otherwise, choose Copy.

Yes, the Copy and other options are available with a right-click, but the options that are presented are only those that make sense (are feasible) in that particular situation.
That's why the right-click pop-up menu is officially named the Contextual Menu. It only offers options that are appropriate in that specific context.
