iMovie sound overlapping

Hello!

I'm using iMovie on my iPhone 6s and have been suffering from a very irritating problem. I have all these different clips put together in one project, some of which I have trimmed down. In most cases, these start as they should according to the timeline, but in some cases, the sound from the clip coming next up is interffering with the video clip being shown just before. In all cases these sounds are from the parts I've trimmed down (or cut, if you will). I've tried removing the clips in whole to put them back in and trim them down again the same way but the same problem keeps occuring.

It's a bit hard to explain but I hope you get it. It's very frustrating since it ruins the movie as a whole.

Thanks in advance!

Jonathan

I've not had this issue occur, but it sounds like a bug in the software. Do you happen to have transitions in between the clips, or had you applied any fades? If so, does changing those have any effect? Also, were the original videos captured with your iPhone or some other source? Maybe there is something of a compatibility issue? You could try creating another movie project, using the same footage and see if it happens there too.
