Two mini displayport (Apple LED Cinema 1900x1200) displays with 2012 Mac Mini?

I'm considering switching my 2009 Mac Pro with a 2012 Mini. The Mac Pro has two mini displayport monitors that I would transfer to the mini if that is possible. Haven't been able to find out if it can be done. It appears that I could connect one monitor to the Thunderbolt port. Can I connect, through an adapter, the other to the HDMI port? Is there another way?
