Q: WiFi Card fails, comes back w/ restart
I recently installed an Atheros AR5BXB112 AR9380 wireless mini card. It worked fine for 3 weeks now there is an issue and I would like to know if anyone has seen it in case its some operating system issue before I return/exchange the card.
The card sees wifi networks of the neighboring apartments and gets the expected download rate. But afte ra couple of hours of streaming videos for class the data rate drops to near zero and the card stops seeing surrounding networks. A simple restart of my MacPro early 2008 solves the problem with the card all reconnected to the network immediately and great data rate, until about 2 or so hours later when it does it again.
Here is system information with the wifi operating, I will do another check the next time the wifi fails and add, unless someone can figure this out without it. I really appreciate the help I get from this forum, thank you for being here
