Open BT preferences. Click the box at the bottom to display the menubar item. When you select the menubar item for BT it will display connected devices in bold. Hover the mouse over the MM2 entry. It will display a small dialog in which the charge level is displayed.

If you leave the mouse connected to the charging cable overnight then the mouse will be fully charged by the time you use it the next day. That's what I usually do because you cannot use the mouse while it is charging.

Hello primdalton,

That is true, but having to leave the mouse connected and try to work is not necessary anyway. Apple claim that you can achieve up to nine hours of work from a mouse with just two minutes charge. Few of us are so short of time that we cannot give our mouse a sip of the juice ... and then remember to connect it up over the following night. I find Magic Mouse 2 to an absolute joy to have.
