Q: Can't drag iTunes library.itl to the Desktop
When I switched my PC on today I found out all my iTunes library had been deleted without aparent reason.
Thankfully, I had saved a copy of the Library and all the playlists in my hard disk, but anyway everytime I open iTunes now it says the Library is damaged, so I have to import the saved old Library everytime. My music is not lost, but it is annoying to do this, obviously.
So I read the article from Apple Support about how to recover the iTunes library, and I tried to follow the steps but when I come to the step "Drag the iTunes Library.itl file to your Desktop", an error appears (I'm going to try to translate it since my computer is in Spanish, so it may not be the exact words):
"This file cant't be moved due to an unexpected error. If you continue receiving this error, you can use the error code to look for help for this problem.
Error 0x80070570: the file or directory is corrupted or unreadable."
How do I do to fix it? I know another option is to delete it but I can't do it either.
It comes without saying that I have not iTunes opened when I do this task, of course.
Also, I looked the error up, but Microsoft didn't have an appropiate answer. It asked me if I tried to change the file's directory, but I'm afraid I don't know how to do it.
My operative system is Windows 7
Any help is appreciated, thank you
