Q: Exporting/Importing photos with location info - Macbook to iPad
During a recent trip, I took some pictures on an iPhone 5s. I had, however, turned Geotagging off because using location services drained the battery big time.
The photographs would then, seamlessly, sync with my iPad Air 2 and Macbook Pro.
Later on, I found out that I could add the location data manually using the Photos app on the Pro. However, the copies on my iPad (and iPhone) wouldn't sync/update to show locations.
Deleting pictures on the iPad and then re-importing them (AirDrop'd from the Pro's Photo app where I had manually entered location info) didn't help either; the Photos app on the iPad still wouldn't display where the pictures were taken.
Any suggestions, please?
