Jul 11, 2016 2:52 PM in response to Marieapple123by ChitlinsCC,When you create your Apple ID, you provide Apple details that only you can know:
- email address that you have chosen for your Apple ID is HALF of your login credentials
- a password, which ONLY YOU know
- a rescue email address
- answers to security questions that ONLY YOU know, in case you forget any of the above (do not have access to the rescue address
Apple ONLY KNOWS what you have told them, so if you "talk" with them, they will ask you for any of the above (except the password) to prove that you are who you say you are.
