Q: Apple ID not being recognized

So im having a problem with my mom's iphone. She needed to reinstall an app, so when she tried doing that the app store asked for her password. She entered it, and it said it wasnt correct, and sent her to the icloud settings. Once in there she was prompted to enter the password again and now it said that the apple id was incorrect!

The apple ID and the password are correct, none of them were changed. She used it to set her iphone just 1 month ago. Then I tried to log out but of course it asked for the password to turn off find my iphone and it again said that the apple id was incorrect. So what can I do??? Im 100% lost.

The only thing that i can mention is that she sold her previous iphone (which she used with this apple ID of course) to a friend, but it was factory reseted.

    Did she followed all the steps according to Apple instructions, read the part in the link below  ☞  If you still have yout iOS device ?

    Now she has no longer her iOS device, read the part in the link below  ☞ If you no longer have your iOS device.
