Ipod Plays Tracks Out Of Order

Hi! I'm using IPod for the very first time, I manually put audiotracks using iTunes but it won't play in the order I put them. IPod is not set on Shuffle mode. Can you help me? Thank you 🙂

Here is my playlist and you can see in the picture that it is started to play from '15 Minute Drama: A Small Town Murder':

The small chevron at the top of the left-hand column of numbers shows that you have the play order reversed. If you actually want the order shown right-click on the name of playlist in the side-bar, click copy to play order from the context menu, then click on the chevron to flip the list into ascending order. Otherwise just click the chevron and start organizing items in the order that you want. Then sync. Your list should now play in the correct order on the device.

Thank you for your tip about the small chevron - it helped. I didn't know that I had to create a playlist in order to organize tracks - thank you for advizing me. I'm sorry to still have one more silly question: I have my first playlist with manualy sorted tracks, but iPod keeps playing tracks as they are on Music list. I clicked on Sync on my new playlist. What am I doing wrong?

And unrelatedly : what are Audiobooks for? I tried to drag files there but they always go to Music 🙂
