Q: Macbook Pro Exploding Battery

So I have a 2012 Macbook Pro that has been a lemon since day 1. Got tired of it crashing on a daily basis so took it to apple and they said "yeah we know this model has problems with the logicboard" and replaced the board.

Unfortunately the crashing never stopped so took it back and they replaced the board again. I asked about getting a replacement machine and they advised they would keep repairing it for me instead.

This also did not stop the machine from crashing daily and the amount of work being lost was becoming a problem so I had to purchase another Macbook pro and keep this machine on the shelf until I had time to get back in to apple.

After a while I tried installing a new hard drive and ram into machine but still had crashing issues, so took it back to apple yet again. This time they could not replicate the problem so it went back onto the shelf while I searched the net for a resolution.

After about 12 months the battery just literally exploded and has expanded to a point where the casing and trackpad has blown out.

Took this into the apple store where they told me the machine is now classed as "vintage" and to call applecare to get the machine replaced as there is no longer any parts available.

Rang applecare and they basically said bad luck it's out of warranty, here's a coupon for a discount on some accessories. See you later!

I have been a DJ in the music industry for over 20 years I have owned and used many apple and non apple products and never has so much trouble with 1 machine. After spending over $3000 on a macbook pro that spent 75% of it's life not working and losing work I am left with a bitter opinion of Apple's after sales service.

What should I do about this problem? Throw it in the bin and advise others via social media or try take it higher with apple?
